Exploring the local labour market is also crucial from the point of view of investing in Poland. In this respect, the business plan prepared by the client should contain assumptions as to the expected level of employment. The investor’s needs in terms of employees will vary depending on the type of business activity. Jobs in IT and new technologies will attract young people with technical education. Therefore, it is worth verifying whether in the vicinity of the planned investment there are academic centres which educate potential employees in the fields of study the investor is interested in. If the investor intends to open a production plant in Poland, they should obtain information whether there are vocational schools nearby whose profile corresponds to the investor’s needs. If the investor wants to attract experienced employees, a location in the vicinity of larger residential areas should be considered.
